It’s been forever since I updated! I’m such a bad blogger / person!!
I’ll try to glamourize some sort of mundane event that arises over the next few days, and try and make a decent blog of it.
Thanks for all the new followers.
This post marks the end of a short run of shows I did with Ellington.
What was only 4 days felt like forever, and I’m very glad to be home in bed.
I always love touring with this band, and this tour was no exception.
Overnight drives, good hangs, amazing food and 120kmph Van Vs. Van food fights made this trip.
Will definitely miss the boys from The Mission In Motion and can’t wait to get my hands on their new album!!
I now find myself with about 2 months of non-touring until I take off with Short Stack for their Australian tour.
Until then, I’ll try and keep this blog as entertaining as possible. :)
So, it’s 12:04am, and I’m sitting in the passenger seat of a 12 seater, slightly modified, Toyota Hiace van. I figure I’m somewhere just over the NSW border.
Setting off for a short run of shows, working for Brisbane band Ellington. (www.myspace.com/ellingtonrock)
Played a show tonight at The Hi Fi in Brisbane, to a handfull of over excited, scantilly clad teenage girls, with US crunk-hopper electro-beatsters 3OH!3.
Excited to see the boys from The Mission in Motion and watch Kenny Vasoli (The Starting Line, Person L), who we’re joining for 2 Sydney shows and a Brisbane club show this weekend.
Will update again soon and try and throw in some pictures.
Until then - let me know if I’m doing a good job with this thing, or whether I should just stick with Twitter?
So I thought I’d finally start one of these things. It’s 6:36am on a Sunday morning, and it seems like a reasonable time to do so.
Let’s blame it on sleep-deprived hysteria.
This “blog” will probably be nothing more than a collection of daily ramblings, songs & video. But hey, I’m sure you’ve read much, much worse.
So..let’s see if I can actually commit to this, and keep you up to date with my life. (as such)
